COBTEL's Cabling Product Analysis
1. Faceplates
The faceplate is installed on the base of TO and TP points, enhancing aesthetics and protecting modules and cables. COBTEL faceplates come in project and distributor versions, with single and dual ports.
Note: According to the national standard "Design Specification for Generic Cabling Systems Engineering" (GB/T 50311-2016) issued by the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development of China, each base box should support no more than two information points. Therefore, a 4-port faceplate is not compliant with the standard.

1.1 COBTEL Faceplates' Advantages
Cylindrical Compression Spring Design: Uses a cylindrical compression spring, discarding the common Z-shaped spring, effectively preventing issues like dust door jamming and failure to rebound.

One-Second Disassembly Design: This design allows for quick, one-second disassembly, facilitating installation, disassembly, and maintenance.

Widened Label Strip: Compatible with standard label sizes, it simplifies label replacement and boosts construction efficiency.

2. PDU
A PDU is a power distribution unit that extends transmission distance and provides secure power to data centers, effectively managing power supply to data centers.
COBTEL PDU sockets are all 8-position new national standard 5-hole sockets, available in 10A/2500W and 16A/4000W versions. They come in project and distributor versions, and advanced models with features like surge protection and overload protection can be selected based on the usage environment.

2.1 COBTEL PDU's Advantages
Single Copper Craft:
The entire internal wiring of the PDU is crafted from a single piece of copper, resulting in low resistance and minimal loss.

360° Rotation: The project version PDU has embedded structural steel brackets on both sides, allowing the entire PDU to rotate 360°, enabling adjustment to the perfect angle based on the site environment.

Safety Protection Design:
Each socket features a safety door to prevent electric shock, and the switch has a transparent cover to prevent accidental power disconnection.

3. Network Patch Cable
Patch cables connect information points to terminal devices and patch panels to interactive devices.Due to the confined installation environment, patch cables need to be frequently bent.
COBTEL patch cables come in project and distributor versions, with lengths ranging from 0.5 meters to 10 meters, and are available in various colors with gauges 23AWG, 24AWG, 26AWG, and 28AWG.

3.1 COBTEL Patch Cable Advantages
A. Soft Patch Cable:
COBTEL patch cables use 7x8 fine copper wires, with each core containing 7 finer copper wires, making the overall cable soft and adaptable to confined, multi-bend environments.

B. Multi-Piece RJ45 Connector:
Multi-piece RJ45 connector: Using fine, soft twisted copper wire, the cable's attenuation and return loss will significantly increase, resulting in a reduced amount of useful signal. The multi-part RJ45 connector can effectively prevent the injection molding process from affecting the wire core's arrangement and physical properties, thus reducing crosstalk between wire pairs and lowering the error rate.
C. Injection Molding Process:
Injection molding process: PVC plastic is injected at the connection point between the RJ45 connector and the cable, securing the RJ45 connector and the cable firmly. This ensures the patch cord stays intact even after extended bending when plugged into a ethernet switch, thus prolonging the patch cord's lifespan.

Each Patch Cable is Tested: Every patch cable is tested using Fluke to ensure performance meets customer requirements.

4. Keystone jacks
Keystone jacks in generic cabling are primarily used for connections between equipment rooms and work areas, essentially between faceplates, installation boxes, and information sockets, mainly installed within walls.
COBTEL jack modules come in project and distributor versions.

4.1 COBTEL keystone jacks Advantages:
A. Standard RJ45 Interface:
Designed and produced according to IEC 60603-7 standards, with 1000 insertion/removal cycles, exceeding the IEC 60603-7 standard requirement of 750 cycles.

B. Slope Peak Design:
This allows wires to be snapped into the wire groove without fully untwisting the twisted pair, improving construction efficiency.

Single TIA 568B Wiring Sequence: Only retaining the B-type wiring sequence, this simplifies user operation during construction and clearing wiring sequence reduces the likelihood of incorrect wiring.

C. Self-Developed PCB Board:
COBTEL is One of the few (less than five) in China capable of self-developing module PCB boards, mastering the design principles of PCB boards, and reasonably reducing PCB board crosstalk to improve link transmission performance.

45° Beveled Blade: Increases contact surface with the cable, preventing wire slippage.

5. Patch Panel
The patch panel organizes chaotic network cables gathered in the machine room, making it difficult to connect them to the switch in a logical order. However, by first connecting the chaotic cables to the patch panel without considering the logical order, and then connecting the patch panel to the switch with patch cables to clarify the logical order, the process becomes easier and more scientific. The patch panel also enhances the aesthetics of the machine room and facilitates later management.
COBTEL patch panels come in project and distributor versions, both with 24 ports.

5.1 COBTEL Patch Panel Advantages
Standard RJ45 Interface: Designed and produced according to IEC 60603-7 standards, with 1000 insertion/removal cycles, exceeding the IEC 60603-7 standard requirement of 750 cycles.

Slope Peak Design: The top of the punching pillar adopts the slope peak design. This allows wires to be snapped into the wire groove without fully untwisting the twisted pair, improving construction efficiency.

Cable Management Bracket: Extended and thickened, it prevents wires from tilting or collapsing due to their weight.
Wiring Sequence Identification: Uses UV spraying, durable and resistant to fall off.

Wire sequence identification: The UV spray coating is resistant to falling off and ensures long-lasting durability. Only category B wire sequence is retained, simplifying construction operations for users. A clear wire sequence helps reduce the chances of making incorrect connections; the wire sequence identification is placed on the outside of the punch-down connectors, making it user-friendly and boosting efficiency.

Self-Developed PCB Board: COBTEL is one of the few (less than five) manufacturers in China capable of self-developing module PCB boards. Mastering the design principles of PCB boards, it reasonably reduces PCB board crosstalk to improve link transmission performance.
6. Conclusion
For low voltage construction, labor costs are a significant expense. COBTEL faceplates, kyestone jacks, and patch panels have all undergone construction-friendly optimization designs in their structures. For low voltage professionals, our products are easy to use. Details such as slope peak design and external wiring sequence design can improve construction efficiency and consider the rework process, making rework easier with the external structure design.
COBTEL products come in distributor and project versions, with the main difference being price. Low voltage professionals can choose products based on their usage needs.
For tight budgets, short usage times, and low peak network speed requirements, the project version is recommended.
For sufficient budgets, long usage times, and future network upgrade needs, the distributor version is recommended.
