1. COBTEL Return & Exchange Policy

At COBTEL, we strive to ensure our B2B partners receive the highest quality optical modules and connectivity solutions. In most cases, COBTEL will accept product returns within 30 days of receipt of product(s), subject to the specific terms and conditions outlined below.
 
 

2. Return Process & Assessment

COBTEL will assess all products returned by the customer to ensure they meet our quality and origin standards. If COBTEL determines such products are eligible for return, we will replace the product or issue a refund depending on the specific circumstances and inventory availability.
To facilitate the efficient processing of returned merchandise, please contact a COBTEL Customer Service representative to obtain a Returned Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number prior to shipping any product(s) back to our facility. Returns without a valid RMA number will not be processed.
 

3. Shipping & Liability

If COBTEL agrees to accept a return, all return freight charges must be prepaid by the customer. We strictly do not accept COD (Cash on Delivery) shipments. Furthermore, COBTEL is not responsible for any loss or damage to the products that occurs due to the carrier or freight provider during transit. We recommend using a tracked and insured shipping method.
 
 

4. Manufacturer Warranties

Some specialized products may require that they be returned directly to the original manufacturer. Returns relating to manufacturers' warranties are strictly subject to the warranty period, terms, and conditions of the applicable manufacturer's warranty and the manufacturer's specific return policies. Please contact your sales manager for details regarding specific brands.
 
 

5. Conditions for Return and Exchange

To qualify for a return or exchange, the following conditions must be met:
Timeframe: Returns must be initiated within 30 days of the receipt of products and must be accompanied by the original invoice number.
RMA Documentation: A customer may return products to COBTEL only with a valid RMA issued by our team. This must include necessary contact information (including but not limited to name, organization, phone number, address, email, and purchase date).
Product Condition: The return must be in the original product packaging and in unused condition (except in cases of manufacturing defects).
ESD Protection: As a provider of high-speed transceivers, we require that all ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) or moisture-sensitive devices be handled with professional care. Any ESD product that has not been handled correctly or shows signs of static damage will not be eligible for return or refund.
Non-Returnable Items: Parts specified as Non-Cancellable/Non-Returnable (NCNR) at the time of quote or sale are strictly ineligible for return.COBTEL reserves the sole discretion to determine which products are classified as Non-Cancellable/Non-Returnable (NCNR).
Proof of Origin: Only products originally shipped from COBTEL will be accepted. By returning any product to COBTEL, you are stating that the returned product was purchased directly from us and that there has been no substitution, in whole or in part, of the same product from another supplier, distributor, or source.
