1. Different definitions
The jumper is actually a metal connecting wire connecting the two demand points of the circuit board (PCB). Due to different product designs, the jumper uses different materials and thickness.
Network cable is essential for connecting LAN. The common network cables in LAN mainly include twisted pair, coaxial cable and optical cable. Twisted pair is a data transmission line composed of many pairs of wires. It is characterized by low price, so it is widely used, such as our common telephone line. It is used to connect with RJ45 crystal head.
2. Different functions
Jumpers are mostly used for equal potential voltage transmission and for short circuiting and connecting two wires. For those with precision voltage requirements, the voltage drop caused by a little metal jumper will also have a great impact on the product performance.
The network cable is used for data transmission and connecting the local area network and for transmitting information within the network.
