In the entire network cabling project, cabinet wiring is a meticulous task. How to make the cabinet wiring neat and orderly is a major test of the professional skills of our novice in the low-voltage field.

1. The Importance of Standardized Cabinet Wiring.
Network Cabinet systems systematically address challenges in computer applications such as high-density heat dissipation, the attachment and management of numerous cables, large-capacity power distribution, and comprehensive compatibility with different manufacturers' rack-mounted devices. This enables data centers to operate in a highly stable environment.
With the vigorous development of the internet industry and the upgrades of network products like servers and switches, the cabinets used need to accommodate more devices than before. As the number of devices increases, it becomes crucial to organize the cabinet wiring in a systematic manner.
If the cables inside the cabinet are poorly laid out or lack a systematic arrangement, it can not only lead to cable damage or an extended replacement time but can also severely impede airflow, causing equipment to overheat and shut down.

2. Mastering these few tricks will ensure that your wiring is orderly, and promotions and salary increases will follow suit.
Here are some tips for organized cabinet wiring:
1.1 Ensure that the air conditioning vent of the cabinet is open to prevent equipment overheating and causing system crashes.
1.2 Label each network cable inside the cabinet to avoid unnecessary trouble during later maintenance.
1.3 Secure switches with matching ears at the top of the cabinet to facilitate cable routing.
1.4 Label each server's asset number and print the asset number + barcode together through a label printer, affixing two identical labels on the front and side of each device.
1.5 Generally, route power cables and network cables from different directions, securing each section with zip ties.

1.6 Mark the zip tie labels with corresponding numbers at both ends of the network cable connecting servers and switches, consistent with the port numbers on the switch.
1.7 When doing the cabinet cabling, ensure that labels and zip ties fix the power plug and server power connector at both ends.
1.8 Cable routing between cabinets generally starts from the top of the cabinet.
1.9 If the cabinet contains switches for both internal and external networks, use two different colored network cables to differentiate them.
Cabinet wiring is a technical task. Neat and orderly wiring not only brings great convenience for later maintenance but also facilitates our inspection of the cabinet's interior. More importantly, presenting such a perfect wiring to the boss may result in a salary increase.
