Three Common Termination Technologies For Connectors And Wires

1. Cup welding wire termination Technology:

The connector tail pin is a notched cup. Put the wire into the welding wire cup and connect the wire to the connector by melting the solder.

2. Crimping termination Technology:

Crimping is a technology that connects wires to contact pairs to compress and move metal within a specified range. Connectors with good crimping connection can obtain better mechanical strength and electrical continuity, so that they can withstand worse environmental conditions.

In addition, the correct crimping connection is better than tin welding, especially when crimping must be used in the application of high current connector. During crimping, special crimping pliers or automatic or semi-automatic crimping machine shall be used, and the appropriate contact pipe shall be selected according to the cross section of the conductor. However, it should be noted that the crimping connection is permanent and can only be used once.

3. Wire wound termination Technology:

The tail end of the connector contact is a long column with square section. The wire is wound around the tail end of the contact piece through the winding equipment to deform the edges and corners and realize the close contact connection between the wire and the pin.
