Features:
1. For the keystone jack part of the patch panel, the phosphor bronze is first plated with nickel and then gold-plated, with a 24K gold-plated thickness of up to 50u〃, and the plugging life exceeds 800 times. Corrosion-resistant and plug-resistant, while effectively extending the service life of the module, it ensures the stability of data transmission.
2. New high-pressure flame retardant materials, UL94V-0 fire-rated wiring frame plastic parts, using new high-voltage flame retardant materials, with good impact resistance, and high and low-temperature resistance. Brand new environmentally friendly plastic, non-toxic and harmless. Safe and flame retardant, the fire rating reaches UL94V-0.
3. Cat6 Patch panel is a device used for terminating and managing end-user or trunk cables, allowing for their flexible connection and deployment. It is a crucial component in the management subsystem and serves as the hub for cross-connections between the vertical backbone and horizontal cabling subsystems. Patch panels are typically installed in racks or on walls. With the installation of accessories, patch panels can meet the requirements of UTP, STP, coaxial cables, fiber optics, and audio/video applications. The commonly used patch panels in network engineering include twisted-pair patch panels and fiber optic patch panels. They can be classified into main distribution frames (MDFs) and intermediate distribution frames (IDFs) based on their usage and location.
4. MDF, also known as the main distribution frame, is used to connect user lines, trunk lines, and special lines to the corresponding interface points of the telephone exchange for testing, distribution, and protection of equipment within the premises. MDFs are structured with both vertical and horizontal sections. The vertical section can accommodate protection arrangements, while the horizontal section is used for test arrangements or terminal blocks. For trunk lines or special lines that do not require protection, the vertical section can be equipped with test blocks or terminal blocks. MDFs of the same model can be combined to meet expansion needs. MDFs for user exchanges, due to their smaller capacity, are often box-shaped. In the early days, MDFs were large in size, with each vertical section capable of accommodating 303 lines. Protection arrangements used 20 or 21-line carbon lightning arresters with thermal coils to limit current. Test blocks consisted of 20 lines and were equipped with four-wire spring contacts that allowed for separate incoming and outgoing lines. The new generation of MDFs, designed to work with computer-controlled exchanges, have significantly reduced size and weight, with each vertical section able to accommodate 1,000 lines. Protection arrangements consist of blocks with 100 lines, using metal discharge tubes to prevent high voltage and overcurrent. Test blocks consist of blocks with 128 lines, allowing for easy separation of contacts to facilitate line testing. Each wire connected to the terminal has its own independent cable tray for easy installation and maintenance. The connection in the protection arrangement is made through card connection, eliminating the need to strip the insulation layer of the wire. The connection in the test arrangement is made through winding. Both connection methods are characterized by their simplicity, reliability, speed, and lack of pollution. Depending on the application, new types of patch panels are available in wall-mount, floor-standing, single-sided, and double-sided configurations.
5. MDFs primarily serve the following functions: 1) Protection: they provide protection against high voltage and excessive current for user lines. 2) Distribution: they allow any user to select a number within the premises, and trunk lines between different offices can be connected to the internal trunk modules. They also facilitate inter-office and user line connections based on the requirements of special lines.
6. IDF, also known as the intermediate distribution frame, is a patch panel that connects the internal line distribution within the telephone exchange. IDFs can be classified into two types based on their location: the intermediate distribution frame between the main distribution frame and exchange equipment, and the intra-room distribution frame.
IDFs are also structured with vertical and horizontal sections. The vertical section is used for outgoing lines from equipment, while the horizontal section is used for incoming lines to equipment. Both vertical and horizontal sections are equipped with terminal blocks. Improved terminal blocks have one side for winding and the other side for soldering. The main function of IDFs is to manage the incoming and outgoing lines between various levels of exchange equipment, enabling the full functionality of the exchange equipment.
